Overview of the different treatment groups. After reduction, the lateral tibial depression fractures were stabilized with three different types of osteosyntheses alone and in combination with bone cement: 2 screws (A), 4 screws in the jail or raft technique (B) and lateral angle-stable buttress plate (C). Specimens and the corresponding x-rays before testing are demonstrated for every osteosynthesis group with bone cement.
