The Josephson-junction circuit with flux qubits designed by Wang et al.47 for implementing the J-measurement. Each flux qubit labeled as \(A_2\) and \(B_2\) consists of three small junctions. \(\Phi _e\) is the flux of the external magnetic field threading the loop connecting the larger junction “0” and \(A_2\) qubit. Following the implementation of QZD, qubits \(A_2\) and \(B_2\) will be measured in z-basis, leaving qubits \(A_1\) and \(B_1\) entangled, i.e., the entanglement swapping procedure is completed.
