Conditional regression plots showing the results of univariate models (LMMs) assessing effect of fixed factors on components of the yellow coloration. Coloration components are tonality (Hue), saturation (Sat), brightness (Value) and the percentage of yellow coverage. The effect of the prey availability, the altitudinal range and the length of the salamander and the sex are shown (for a complete description of univariate model results see Table 1). The blue line represents the estimated median, while colured areas are 95% confidence bands.
