Both peptides have five repeats of the VPGVG pentapeptide sequence, 2-aminobenzoyl (Abz) followed by cysteine amino acid at the N-terminus, and 2, 4-dinitrophenyl (Dnp) attached to the amine functional group on lysine (K) before the C-terminus.
