Zooming in on the relationship at a fixed illuminance illustrates the large range of achievable CS values at a fixed mel-EDI that is driven by spectral configuration and partly driven by the discontinuity between “blue wins” (rBY+) and “yellow wins” (rBY-) of the CS model. The horizontal grey dashed line indicates the daytime CS recommendation of CS ≥ 0.3 of UL 24480.
