In all cases, the average mel-DER increases as CCT increases, but so too does the achievable mel-DER range. As the average fidelity floor is raised (i.e., from Rf ≥ 70 to Rf ≥ 80 to Rf ≥ 90), the average, maximum, and achievable range of mel-DER decreases.
