Schematic diagram of the study design. (A) A summary of the data sources used in the study to generate the gene signatures. ATG101 was identified as an oncogene in HCC after pan-cancer screening. (B) ATG101-related gene signature (ATS) was established using a combination of approaches, such as WGCNA and LASSO-Cox regression. (C) The performance of ATS was validated in external cohorts, using time-dependent receiver operating characteristic, nomogram and DCA. (D) Characterization of the feature of ATS, including its effect on TME, mutation profile, immunological properties and therapeutic implications.
