Overnight shipping induces an inflammatory transcriptional network in PBMCs. Weighted network analysis of transcripts differentially regulated in PBMCs isolated from blood held for 24 h relative to freshly prepared PBMCs revealed a highly interconnected network of 11 transcription factors (green) regulating 12 inflammatory cytokines and chemokines (red) and 15 additional inflammatory factors (yellow).
