Outliers are participant data which are outside the 1.5 interquartile range beyond the first and third quartiles. *: p < 0.05, **: p < 0.01, ***: p < 0.001. Performance in the auditory linguistic condition was higher than performance in the auditory nonlinguistic condition and performance in the visual linguistic condition; and performance in the visual nonlinguistic condition was superior to performance in the auditory nonlinguistic condition (regardless of Training Type).
