(b) Serpentinization occurred around a diopside grain (Di) and formed chrysotile (Ctl) + calcite (Cal). (c) Chrysotile and calcite formed along the cleavage plane of diopside. (d) Relict diopside rimmed by a layer of chrysotile followed by a layer of calcite. (e) Complete serpentinization of diopside forming along cleavages. (f) Complete serpentinization of diopside forming pseudomorphs of chrysotile + calcite with network fabrics. (g) Serpentinized diopsides crosscut by a late antigorite (Atg) + calcite vein.
