From: Quantum ghost imaging of a transparent polarisation sensitive phase pattern
A schematic of a quantum ghost imaging experiment of a polarisation sensitive phase pattern. Photon-1 interacts with the pattern and detected by a single photon detector after passing through a polariser and a convex lens. A non-interacting photon-2 is imaged on camera after passing through an imaging convex lens and a polariser. Camera detects photon-2 leading to a joint measurement of its polarisation and position only if a particular measurement outcome of polarisation and momentum of photon-1 is produced.
