A two-way repeated-measures ANOVA with the Geisser–Greenhouse correction followed by Dunnett post hoc test was used to compare groups each time, using WCFS1 strain as a control. ***p ≤ 0.001, ****p ≤ 0.0001. A residual gallic acid from the tannic acid reagent can be observed at time zero. Due to tannic acid degradation at incubation conditions (30° C), gallic acid increases over time.
