Distribution of residual pressure p and shear \(\tau\) developed in the deformed body of tumor in response to linear and quadratic distributions of nutrients. The remodeling is obtained for \(\alpha =12\), \(p_0=0\) and \({\bar{t}}=1.5 \times 10^{-4}\)s2/cm. Stress distributions are mostly homogeneous in linear nutrient distribution, indicating homogeneous remodeling. In quadratic distribution of nutrient, the stress distribution is inhomogeneous, vanishing around the covertex region. However, stress concentration is observed at the vertex edges indicating significant local remodeling.
