From: In-silico study of asymmetric remodeling of tumors in response to external biochemical stimuli
Asymmetric remodeling of GB tumoroids in response to high gradient (b-1) and low gradient (b-2) of FBS was imaged over 6 days and compared with the control (a). Spherical tumoroids remodeled to ellipsoidal shapes along the direction of FBS gradient. Measurement of vertex to covertex ratios R\(_{max}\)/R\(_{min}\) of tumoroids indicated that higher gradient gives rise to higher levels of remodeling (c). Scale bares are 200 μm.
