Kaplan–Meier estimated the overall survival of 111 patients with diffuse large b-cell lymphoma based on the risk groups defined by the new model and IPI. PFS, progression-free survival; OS, overall survival. Figures (A) and (B) show the survival curves for high-risk and low-risk patients in the new model. Figures (C) and (D) show the survival curves for patients in the better prognosis group (IPI score 0–2) and those in the poorer prognosis group (IPI score 3–5) for the IPI score. It is clear that the new model can better distinguish between different risk groups of people.
