The process of repairing TEF using the magnetic compression technique. (A) TEF model formed by the magnetic compression technique. (B) The tracheoesophageal space was cleaned and the TEF was exposed. (C) The pressing magnet was placed in the tracheoesophageal space. (D) The pressing magnet continued to press the fistula in vivo until both sides were healed. (E) After the two sides were healed, the pressing magnets were separated from the tissue. (F) After removing the pressing magnets, the TEF was repaired.
