The transparency of the cornea is divided into four grades: Grade 1, almost clear; Grade 2, blurring can be found at the edge of the cornea; Grade 3, more than 50% of the cornea appears significantly blurred, but the central part retains some transparency; and Grade 4, totally blurred. Grade 0, taken at the beginning of preservation, is used as the blank control group.
