Quantification of swab performance by RT-qPCR quantification of N2 SARS-CoV-2 gene pickup CCW by varying the order of the positive swab in the pool of 10 swabs. Comparison of injection molded, ClearTip, Steripack, Puritan Flocked and Puritan Foam swabs validated in an anterior nasal tissue model loaded with healthy artificial mucus (negative sample) or spiked with heat-inactivated SARS-CoV-2 virus (positive sample). *Significant statistical difference (p < 0.05).
