The tumor collective available for analysis is shown. It consists of a total of 253 patients. Biopsies were obtained endoscopically in a university hospital (U), peripheral hospitals (H) and gastroenterologists in private practice (GP). Biopsies of adenocarcinomas (n = 171) and esophageal tumors/transitional carcinomas (n = 230) are found quite predominantly.
