Operation stage one- longitudinal incisions were made on the volar and dorsal aspects of the distal forearm (A), and we created three independent volar-dorsal channels through the membrane (B). Three 10 mm silicon rods were inserted inside the routs (C), and two ends of each rod were fixed to the adjacent soft tissues with a 2–0 nylon suture (D, E, F).
