Superficial segmentation of the OCTA images with projected slice navigator aligned to the foveal bulge where the outer segments of the photoreceptor cells is longest in the central fovea. Three cases with a history of the ROP and one case of the control group are presented as representative examples. The center of the foveal bulge was confirmed to be within the FAZ (inner yellow ring) in all cases. The limited outer yellow ring is a 300-µm wide area for the flow density measurement. This yellow line is assigned at the same time when the FAZ is automatically determined by the embedded AngioAnalytics software and is not directly related to this study.
