Inhibition of the macrophages’ inflammasome blocks LPS-induced remodeling of primary human myometrial smooth muscle cells. (b) Cells were co-cultured and treated with LPS in presence or absence of MCC950. In Transwell experiments, LPS was added on macrophages (upper compartment) whereas MCC950 was added either in the upper (macrophages) or the lower compartment (myocytes).
