Memory cells structure in LSTM44. These cells are comprised of three gates: an update or input gate, a forget gate, and an output gate. Together, these gates facilitate the learning of long-term dependencies. The input gate and output gate determine what information to update and transmit to the next cell, respectively. On the other hand, the forget gate decides which information is least relevant and should be discarded.
