The correlation between heterogeneity scores and combined pathological grades was assessed using a linear polynomial correlation. The graph shows a positive correlation between the heterogeneity scores and degree of malignancy in the pathological grades (R = 0.639; p < 0.001). The straight line in the plot indicates the linear regression line with 95% confidence intervals (dashed line), and the open circles represent the heterogeneity scores for each patient.
