Chromatogram showing recovery of thiamine following storage of 1 mL of a 100 nM equimolar mixture of thiamine, TMP, or TDP stored for 1 h at 21 °C in HPLC grade water in Amber glass (red), clear non-silanized (blue), clear silanized glass (green), and polypropylene (black) HPLC vials prior to removal of the solution and conversion to thiochrome in polypropylene HPLC vials and HPLC analysis with fluorescence detection at 374 nm excitation and 433 nm emission.
