Definition of the segments to be evaluated. The red area is the blood flow cavity, and the blue area is the thrombus. Each evaluated segment was classified into a proximal or peripheral group according to the location of the thrombus and into an occlusive or non-occlusive group according to vascular patency. When thrombi had both proximal and peripheral sides of the segmental artery, the segments were classified into the proximal group.
