Accumulation of autophagosomes in neonatal cardiomyocytes following CQ treatment. NMCMs were transfected with Ad-Cre or Ad-GFP as control for 5 days and incubated with CQ (10 µM) 4 and 24 h before being harvested. (A) Autophagy was evaluated by WB assay for LC3I, LC3II, p62, and GAPDH. Quantification revealed the LC3II/LC3I ratio and p62/GAPDH elevation following 4 and 24 h of CQ treatment in KO and normal NMCMs (B).
