Prevalence rates of the different types of childhood abuse and neglect assessed by the Childhood Trauma Screener (CTS) among inpatients/day-clinic patients with and without suicide attempts. While individuals with a history of suicide attempts reported more experiences of all domains of the CTS, the largest difference pertained to emotional abuse (followed by sexual abuse).
