The amplitude of the transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)-induced motor evoked potentials increased following treatment in the BCI-FES group but not the Random-FES group. Interaction: Group and Time (F(1) = 27.69, p = 0.034; ηp2 = 0.93), correcting for covariates. BCI-FES: post hoc p = 0.012; Random-FES: post hoc p = 0.050. TMS was applied at electrode location C2, contralateral to the affected limb. Error bars = standard error of the mean.
