DCL-KD and cold exposure additively reduce body weight and fat mass in mice. DCL-KD mice (black bars) and WT littermates (grey bars) were fed a dox-containing diet for five weeks to induce DCL knockdown in the transgenic mice. During week 6, mice were single-housed at 21 °C (solid) or 4 °C (blocked) for 1 week. At week 0, 5 and 6, (A,D) body weight, (B,E) fat mass (C,F) lean mass were determined [n = 16 per group for (A–C), and n = 8 per group for (D–F)].
