Recurrence was analyzed within a median follow-up time of 53 months. Other subtypes included papillary (n = 3) and micropapillary (n = 1) carcinomas. *p < 0.05, using the Chi-squared test for categorical variables, and the one-way ANOVA test or Mann-Whitney U test for normal and non-normal continuous variables, respectively.
