(a) Typical variation of metric \(Q\equiv |\textbf{H}(0)|^2/|\textbf{H}(-h_1)|^2\), as defined by (3), with respect to the thickness \(h_1\) of the semiconducting layer and the thickness \(h_2\) of the metallic layer. The response is practically independent from the angle of incidence \(\theta\) due to the implicit permittivity selection (2) and the relative nature of metric Q. (b) Typical representation of relative magnetic field \(|\textbf{H}(0)|/|\textbf{H}_\textrm{inc}|\) , with respect to the thickness \(h_1\) of the semiconducting layer and the incidence angle \(\theta\). Note that \(\varepsilon\) varies with respect to \(\theta\), according to (2).
