Densitometric analysis of KAT6A (A) and KAT6B (B) bands of the selected breast cancer cell lines (western blot). Different expressions of the KAT proteins studied were noticed in all breast cancer cell lines and the control cell line (ME16C). Estrogen receptor (ER) positive cell lines (MCF-7, BT-474 and T-47D) show relatively higher expression levels of KAT6A and KAT6B proteins compared to ER-negative cell lines (ME16C, SK-BR-3, MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-231/BO2). Analysis performed using unpaired t-test. *p < 0.1; **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.001; ****p < 0.0001. (C ) β-actin was used as an internal control. The data show the average standard deviation of three independent experiments. ***, p < 0.001; **** p < 0.0001. The results were identical after three repetitions of this experiment.
