Results of steam spread area (SSA). (A) Comparison of SSA by grasping ranges 10 mm, 15 mm, and full bite generated by ENSEAL™ X1 (X1). SSA increased significantly with increasing grasping range. (B) The SSA while each device (X1, ENSEAL™ G2 [G2], HARMONIC® HD1000i [HA]) was activating with a 15 mm grasping range. The SSA of G2 was significantly larger than that of HA. The SSA of G2 seemed larger than that of X1. However, no significant difference was observed. # indicates a significant difference at a P-value of 0.05.
