Impact of Pupal Stage Environmental Changes on the Pupal Period of B. dorsalis. Soils used in Experiments A, B, and D were untreated natural soils. Experiments B, C, and D were conducted using the “lie” position, which yielded the highest eclosion rate. In this box plot, the central line represents the mean eclosion rate of the insects, while the box extends from the bottom to the top, indicating the range from the minimum to the maximum values of the mean values across biological replicates.
