The mCherry-SHA binding signal on acinar cells is competitively blocked by the addition of L-Rhamnose. (A–D) Competition of mCherry-SHA signal in the acinar cells with increasing doses of L-Rhamnose (0 to 400 mM). The arrows indicate a ductal lumen positively stained with Cpa1 and mCherry-SHA, which is also reduced by L-Rhamnose competition. This suggests that SHA-BGs are secreted into ducts.
