Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis identified six fatty acids in the SME, including three saturated fatty acids—pentadecanoic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid—and three polyunsaturated fatty acids—linoleic acid, linolenic acid, and docosadienoic acid, as detailed in Table. Linolenic acid was the most predominant fatty acid, accounting for 23.4% of the total area percentage.
