From: A multi-level analysis of motor and behavioural dynamics in 9-month-old preterm and term-born infants during changing emotional and interactive contexts

Model results—CI (beta). Predicted margins of complexity index with confidence intervals. Across all sensor locations, complexity index decreases moving from presence to absence of caregiver interaction, and increases moving from absence to presence of caregiver interaction. In this frequency band, complexity index was greater complexity index for infants in the preterm relative to term group, only in left ankle movements.
