  1. Seed cleaning (SC)-Ants use their mandibles, antennae, forelegs and middle legs to clean the seeds. Ants remove the husk of the seeds using mandible and may treat the seeds through their mandibular secretions; Abdominal wagging (AW)-Ants waggle their abdomen inside the nest near seed granary, Self-grooming (SG)-Ants constantly groom/clean their body to remove dust particles and possibly other foreign bodies including microbes, Allo-grooming (AG)-Ants groom/clean the body of other ants to remove dust particles and possibly other foreign bodies including microbes, Wall cleaning (WC)-Ants clean the nest wall inside the nests and Antennation (A)-Ants use antennal contact to communicate and transfer the information.
