The pre-landing phase was defined as the 100 ms preceding first ground contact, while the braking phase was from ground contact to the instant of peak length of the GM-MTU (≈deepest point of BCM) during the stance phase, while the push-off phase was from the deepest point of BCM during the stance phase until toe-off.
