Reduced protein secretion after treatment with antibacterial agents. The concentrations of cytokines (IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-10) and chemokines (CCL20, CXCL8, CXCL1, CCL2) were measured using Luminex-based multiplex technology, while hBD-2 and TIMP-1 levels were quantified by ELISA. Tukey box plots illustrate the measured data points (18 to 24) collected from six to eight individual INTERbACT models for each experimental condition.
