The liver tissue is formed of hepatocytes (black arrows) with vesicular nuclei radiating from central veins (CV) and separated by blood sinusoids (S). Notice the Kupffer cells (blue arrows) are observed within the sinusoids. (c) GET group shows a dilated congested central vein (CV), darkly stained hepatocytes, and large sized Kupffer cells containing dark granules.
