Plant extract showed antibacterial effects against different S. aureus strains. Two S. aureus strains isolated from AD skin (a,b) and one ATCC strain (c) were exposed to different concentrations of the plant extract for 2 h. Bacteria were plated on TSB agar and the colony forming units (CFU) were counted after 24 h. Medium with vehicle (5% EtOH) served as control. CFU values are shown as log₁₀-transformed data. Statistical analyses were performed on log-transformed values. Bars are means ± SEM. Statistical significance was determined using One-way ANOVA with subsequent Bonferroni’s Multiple Comparison Test (n = 3, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001; ns = not significant).
