TTBP, 4sB-DTBP, and 4E-DTBP potentiate T3-activated morphological changes in a precocious metamorphosis assay. Measured parameters were Head Area (A–C); Brain Width at Optic Tectum (D–F), and Lower Jaw Angle (G–I). 1-week post-fertilization tadpoles were administered the indicated butylphenols in their rearing water in the presence of 10 nM T3 for five days (TTBP: A, D, G; 4sB-DTBP: B, E, H; 4E-DTBP: C, F, I).
