(A) Pressure recordings in the Esophagus (Eso), Esophagogastric Junction (EGJ) and Stomach (Stom) obtained prior to and then with gastric distension at 5, 7 and 10 mmHg pressure, before and after Nissen fundoplication. Gastric Pressure (B) and EGJ pressure (C) with gastric distension were higher following Nissen compared to before Nissen fundoplication.
