Effects of histamine on mRNA expression for cytokines in human lung macrophages (HLMs). HLMs (106 cells/well) were incubated (3 to 18 h at 37 °C) with complete medium (CTR) or histamine (10−4 M). At the end of incubations, IL-6 (A), TNF-α (B), and IL-1β (C) mRNAs were determined by quantitative RT-PCR.
