2.5D tactile pattern designs for the experiment. (a) Twenty five 2.5D tactile patterns for the experiments. On each square cell of a sample were located multiple dome shapes, i.e., bumps. For each pattern, samples with bumps having fixed diameter values (d  =  1.4 and 5.6 mm) were fabricated. Three colors (black, gray, and white) mean the height difference in the dome height.
