Energy RMSE (in meV’s) for different approaches discussed in the text for different fractions of a relatively large dataset involving 59049 cases of double nanowire quantum dots. Note very different convergence of various approaches and that a relatively small fraction of the entire set is needed for all neural network-based approaches to be close to the 1 meV target.
