(A) Rat liver tissues treated with AEV01 were subjected to H & E staining. Histopathological changes (black arrowheads) were identified by inverted microscope at 10 × magnification. The cellular intensities were quantified using ImageJ software, ***p < 0.001 when compared to tumor control. (B) Liver tissues of Hep3B- induced HCC xenografts, following administration AEV01 were analysed for the protein expression levels of inflammatory and tumor suppressor markers by ELISA.
