Enrichment for genes with outlier levels of Fst (top 5%) associated with social behaviours among social and subsocial groups and previous genomic and transcriptomic studies in C. calcarata. The numbers at the end of each bar represent the number of genes with outlier levels of Fst associated with social or subsocial behaviour that were also found in the specific transcriptomic studies. We found significant overlap between genes with outlier levels of Fst and differentially expressed genes among several different categories of daughters that were either significantly upregulated over all others and among guarding mothers that are upregulated over all others.
